COMPOSTAXE DOMÉSTICO, Boiro
O Concello de Boiro puxo en marcha a finais do ano 2019 a entrega gratuíta de composteiros domésticos para aquelas persoas e familias que contasen con vivendas unifamiliares ou vivendas colectivas con espazos verdes e/ou xardín. Con esta medida o Concello de Boiro pretendía comezar a artellar unha rede de compostaxe domestica que promovese unha redución de residuos orgánicos.
Esta medida, beneficiosa para o medio ambiente, as persoas e para a sociedade no seu conxunto foi ben acollida polos veciños e, ate o momento, nestes últimos anos levamos repartidos preto de 200 composteiros domésticos.
Na actualidade, neste ano 2022 temos aínda unha reserva de case 100 composteiros domésticos e, asemade, no ano 2023 prevemos repartir outros douscentos.
